"Ríu Ríu Chíu" is a Spanish villancico first published in 1556. Performed as a Christmas carol, this piece is often attributed to Mateo Flecha the Elder (1481–1553), a Catalan composer from the Kingdom of Aragon (later part of Spain).
In this performance by the Needham High School Chorale, Borrelli solos the opening as well as the first and seventh verses.

On Nov. 29, 30, and Dec. 1, Borrelli had the phenomenal experience of performing Handel's Messiah at Boston Symphony Hall with the professional Handel and Haydn Society Orchestra and Chorus.

Check out the Subway Dwarves performance of Billy Joel's "The Longest Time" and Wham!'s "Last Christmas" at Winterfest 2024! As Senior Leader, Borrelli has been leading arranging pieces, leading rehearsals, running technique workshops, and conducting the group. He is the bass vocalist in both pieces.
